Testimonials
Parks and Heritage Services, Chelmsford Borough Council commissioned Mackman Research to help us understand why ‘low income’ groups are ‘low users’ of public parks and gardens and recommend what could change behaviour.

The project team delivered a great piece of research. Based on our experience the following qualities were apparent: 1) Flexible: Especially since we adapted the methodology to reach target audience. 2) Question development: The team was positive and constructive in questionnaire design, integrating our local knowledge with their expertise. 3) Approachable: team adopted a collaborative and can do approach. 4) Reporting: was clear and in-depth.

Two new faces at Mackman

We’re pleased to welcome two new staff to Mackman this month. The new posts reflect our continuing growth and success in the fields of research and on-line commerce and communication.

James Royce joins us as Technical Business Manager and Clare Gray will support our research and PR operations.  In an icy economic climate, knowing your market has never been more important – especially for small to medium sized businesses.  As more and more businesses realise how much effective research can help them to maximize their potential, we’re looking forward to developing our own research capacities further.

Both James and Clare are  looking forward to being a key part of our growing business.

Sure Start Award Social Research Contract

Sure Start  have commissioned the social research services of Mackman Research to measure customer satisfaction levels.  The project will survey the views of parents and carers who use the services of Sure Start Hyndburn.  It is anticipated that data collection will commence in April with analysis and final reporting delivered by the end of May.  This is not the first time that Mackman Research have undertaken qualitative and quantitative research on behalf of Sure Start.  The results will compare current findings with previous research.
