Paul Mackman

Paul is a co-founder and the Managing Director of the Mackman Group, incorporating Mackman Research and Mackman, the full service marketing agency.

Paul’s Grandfather set up and ran a successful South London agency, which he cites as being an important early influence that drew him into the world of all things marketing. He has broad commercial and marketing experience across sectors, including retail, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, education and professional services.

Paul is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and Vice-Chair of the CIM, Eastern Region. Through his association with the CIM he contributes to national decisions about the future of marketing.

He has actively supported The Bridge Project since 2006, a Suffolk social enterprise that supports adults with learning disabilities. As Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Bridge, Paul has upheld Mackman's ethos of 'Together we Grow', and continues to actively support other local charities and enterprises in Sudbury with their strategic objectives and marketing.

Essex County Council - COVID-19 Business Research

Government

Mackman Research was commissioned by Essex County Council to conduct an important business support survey during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. This project has since gone on to be selected as a finalist in the 'Best Data Collection – Interviewer Administered' category of the MRS Operations Awards 2021.
