Mackman Research is raising funds for the Sri Lanka crisis

Mackman Research, along with our sister company Mackman, is raising vital funds to assist the most vulnerable tea-picking families in Sri Lanka. We aim to raise £1000, all of which will go to Women's Empowerment Sri Lanka, a grassroots charity dedicated to supplying essential non-perishable rations, including rice, flour, and cowpea. This is a cause that is very close to our hearts, as the humanitarian situation in Sri Lanka is dire, and many families are having to endure exceptional hardships as a result of shortages of food, fuel, and medicine.

Research Director

Dr Gemma Mackman is co-founder and Research Director of the Mackman Group. Her professional career has given her a broad knowledge of business practices, an appreciation of good customer service and experience of a diverse range of sectors. Gemma is also a member of the Market Research Society and has completed research training provided by the Economic and Social Research Council.

Essex County Council - COVID-19 Business Research

Government

Mackman Research was commissioned by Essex County Council to conduct an important business support survey during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. This project has since gone on to be selected as a finalist in the 'Best Data Collection – Interviewer Administered' category of the MRS Operations Awards 2021.
